Intelligent Service Assurance: A Modern Way for CSPs to Achieve Service Excellence

ANS CEO, Phil Brooks, explained to the audience at the Mobile World Conference that Mobile Communication Service Providers have a faster opportunity to leverage IT centric service management capabilities to support 5G rollout. Cloud based computing, SDN and NFV have radically changed the requirements to support 5G Service Assurance.  That said, Brooks also made it clear that many aspects of 5G Service Assurance still remain and will need to be supported over a longer period with traditional OSS capabilities.

The conclusion that Brooks offered is that 5G Communication Service Providers need to adopt a twin track strategy that unifies in adopting common processes and a standardised platform.
